I am experimenting with Agora discussion forum for my volunteers on the tax website; it's open only to volunteers so I cannot share it with you. But I wanted to know if anyone else had tried Agora and what you liked/disliked about it.
I found it easy to register myself and set up. It automatically found all my registered volunteers and added them to the forum. It took me a little bit of thinking to figure out how to administer the forum (add categories). Once I gave it some thought, I realized that it has its own control panel that you access through the Joomla back end to do that type of thing. So the admin controls the major categories but users can then add threads within them.
Any feedback from anyone using it would be appreciated. If you have specific questions about how it might work, ask them and I'll see if I can answer it. As a fairly novice Joomla user, I found this an easy extension to install and hopefully to administer.
